What does TSI do?
TSI provides community residential and rehabilitative services and supports to adults with mental disabilities so they may lead self-sufficient and independent lives. TSI works with individuals to help them gain the skills and supports needed to be successful in their chosen living, learning, working and social environments.
Who do I contact if I am interested in services?
When you call our main office, our receptionist will direct you to someone who can explain the referral process and answer your questions. Be sure to indicate whether you are interested in our mental health (psychiatric) or mental retardation (intellectual) disability services.
Do you provide services for children?
No. TSI only provides services for adults 18 years of age or older. Some people who receive services through our community supported living programs have children who live with them. However, TSI does not provide any direct service to the children.
What if I just want to find an apartment?
We only assist with finding an apartment or providing housing for adults with mental health (psychiatric) and/or mental retardation (intellectual) disabilities. Additionally, the individual must be referred through their service coordinator or independent supports coordinator and be willing to receive services through one of our programs.
Will TSI help to pay my rent?
No. While some of our buildings are subsidized through HUD, TSI does not provide individual rent subsidies.
